A Message from the SUFU President

Dear SUFU Members,

As many of you know, the FDA recently revised/updated their standpoint on the use of mesh in vaginal surgery this week. The membership should know that SUFU was not part of this process whatsoever and was not consulted in advance of this update being developed or sent. There are several issues that are worth highlighting in this update.

Accordingly, the SUFU leadership has been busy drafting a response to this update as it clearly affects many of our members. Linked below is the FDA update and the SUFU response to it. Thank you.
