Female Urology 2013 Match – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Several changes have occurred in the application and matching process as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) moves towards subspecialty certification.

Residents
Please note that candidates applying to accredited programs for FPM/RS fellowship training beginning July 1, 2013 must apply through Electronic Residency Application Service or ERAS.
1. Complete your application now on the ERAS website. http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm.
2. View the participating programs and begin applying to the institutions you are interested in. NOTE: Review the site often, as programs may be added/deleted through the beginning of February.
3. The Match officially opens April 4th 2012. Both applicants and Program directors must enter NRMP and register. They will be given unique ID #s to facilitate this process. This is the entity that will actually perform the match. http://www.nrmp.org/fellow/index.html
Fellowship Program Directors
1. Programs who will be participating in the match should contact ERAS in order to insure they are registered correctly. It is suggested that they call the following phone number or use myERAS. You need special software to download the applications.
- Call the ERAS HelpDesk Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM Eastern Time at 202-862-6264.
- MyERAS at myeras@aamc.org. To expedite responses to your questions, please be sure to include:
- your name
- your AAMC ID
- your designated dean's office
- your return e-mail address
2. Programs may download and review applications starting December 1st, 2011 to May 31st, 2012.
3. Programs who are new to the process and not already registered in the NRMP will be contacted by the NRMP and instructed on how to get registered and get started. The NRMP process is NOT necessary to begin registration on ERAS and start lining up interviews.
